Feeling Good in The Badlands

In all of the guidebooks, that say how the Badlands just appear out of nowhere and have an ethereal quality. Well, it's true. It is 244,000 acres of moon-like landscape. Here's a video we took right is we entered Badlands National Park:





Here is a second video that I took. Had to include it for a little bit of entertainment:




We ended up driving through the park at sunset, which made for some spectacular views as the landscape changed colors as the sun went down.

    I forgot to say if you ever are looking for a good book, Peace Like a River is really great and part of it takes place in the badlands.
