Tuesday, July 1 - Watched a really interesting video about the creation of the Crazy Horse Memorial. It was started back in 1948, and the just revealed the face in 1998. It is the world’s largest mountain carving, and will probably still take generations to complete. There was a HUGE thunderstorm right as we were pulling up, with torrential rain and even some hail.
