"Ear" at the Corn Palace

It claims to be the only Corn Palace in the world, and there's probably a reason that it's a one-of-a-kind... I had no expectations of what it would deliver, and was happy with the value that we got for the free price of admission: an entertaining diversion while driving along I-90. Sandy, on the other hand, was all juiced up about the prospect of the corn palace and all of the popcorn options it was likely to present, especially since there were tons of billboards along the road building it up. She made a b-line to the "Corn-cession" the minute we walked into the door and purchased her beloved treat. All primed and ready to view the attraction with bag of popcorn in hand, we went into the main area... and all that was there was a gymnasium with a souvenier shop on the floor and murals made of corn cobs on the wall. The exterior was pretty spectacular though, and fun was still had by all.
